Mobily has organized an educational visit for Prince Sultan University (PSU) students to its Al-Malga Data Center in Riyadh.
The aim of the visit was to advice the faculty of engineering students closely and practically about what they are studying in their school.
Al-Malga Mobily Data Centers in Riyadh is claimed to be the best among such centers in the Kingdom as they are Tier IV and Tier III classified by Uptime Institute, one of the global institutes specialized in evaluating data centers around the world.
The delegation was received by Ahmed Abdulaziz Al-Osaili, executive manager at the center’s services delivery management, who gave a detailed presentation about the cloud computing and managed services provided by the company.
The presentation included as well how the data centers continue their work even during a state of emergency, and what are the security measures that have been taken by Mobily to ensure the best and highest quality services provided to its customers.
The delegation was acknowledged by the features of partnership between Mobily and IBM, which have been utilized to provide many of the advanced business services in the Kingdom.
The delegation of the university was under the supervision of Murad Rizq, assistant professor in the faculty of communication and networks engineering at PSU, who expressed his thanks to Mobily for the data center visit.
Mobily states it has made a similar educational visit to Al-Malga data centers for SAP program students sponsored by the company as part of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Program of Education for Employment at the PSU.
